In 2005, using the same implant, the crown was replaced using the technology available (18 years after the implant was placed). This case was awarded the Creative Circle Award at the World Conference 2005 and presented at the World Conference 2007 at the M.G.M. in Las Vegas.

Pioneers in implants and definitive teeth on the same day
In 1998 we incorporated at our Center and published the first worldwide protocol that allowed the placement of implants and definitive teeth on the same day. The concept, called Same Day Teeth or Brånemark Novum®, was developed by our mentor Prof. Brånemark and Richard Skalak. You can download the book chapter where Dr. Navarro describes this technique step by step from here.

Pioneers in Invisible Orthodontics
Pioneers in invisible orthodontics. In 2003 we treated the first patient with invisible orthodontics.
Invisible orthodontic aligner
Before and after the first case treated at our center with invisible orthodontics. The patient also had teeth whitening.
We currently hold the “Diamond” category thanks to the many cases we treat each year.

Pioneers in computer-guided surgery
In 2005, we were the first center in the Canary Islands to use computer-guided surgery to place dental implants.

Incorporation of Omnicam, inLab MC XL milling unit, inFire HTC Speed and inEos X5
In 2014, aware that digital dentistry was here to stay, we incorporated Sirona's CEREC CADCAM system. This equipment allows us to make all types of prostheses (ceramic, acrylic or temporary), often in a single visit.

2015
Pioneers in the use of ceramic implants
In 1981, we treated our first cases with ceramic implants using the Tübinger Implantat made of Aluminum Oxide Al2O3.
Since 2015 we have used state-of-the-art zirconia ceramic implants (much greater strength than Al2O3), ideal in clinical situations of titanium allergy and in the aesthetic anterior zone.

Integration of invisible orthodontics and digital impression with Omnicam
Incorporation of Omnicam Intraoral Digital Impression for invisible orthodontics. Align Technology and Sirona announce a new workflow integration together with CEREC OmniCam, which can be used to submit invisible orthodontic cases that require an intraoral scanner. This allows Invisalign-brand providers to submit a digital impression instead of a traditional PVS impression.

Pioneers in incorporating GBT / AIRFLOW® PROPHILAXIS MASTER
The incorporation of 2 Airflow Prophylaxis Master units puts the cleanliness and health of the mouth at our center at the highest level. Prevention, maintenance and treatment to remove biofilm from natural teeth, restorations and implants.
We incorporate the CEREC PRIMESCAN for the first time in Spain
We have added the latest intraoral scanner to our equipment. Its new high-resolution sensor can capture 1 million 3D pixels per second and offers the following scanning features:
Dentsply Sirona – Primescan
Deeper areas (up to 20 mm), which allows digital impressions also in subgingival or particularly deep preparations.
Records practically all tooth surfaces, even in scans at a very sharp angle.
Captures tooth surfaces directly at the required resolution, in very little time, with high sharpness even in very deep scans.
Significantly higher level of detail than in 3D models.
2020
Incorporation of the Orthophos SL 3D scanner
We incorporated a 3D panoramic radiography system at our dental clinic in Las Palmas.
Incorporation of X-Guide Navigated Surgery
Innovation has always been one of the mottos of our center. Navigated surgery, or computer-guided implant surgery, is one of the latest techniques developed in the field of Implantology to improve the quality and speed of treatments.
We incorporated it at our Center in 2020, and since then we have worked with this method in a multitude of cases where the greater precision in implant placement that this technology provides, compared with traditional surgery, was required.
We increase safety at our facilities
During the COVID period, in addition to developing a rigorous protocol of preventive measures and creating a safety barrier at the entrance, we incorporated into our facilities a hypochlorous acid production system, with which, since then, we manufacture this powerful oxidant that is 100 times more efficient, eliminating more microbial pathogens than sodium hypochlorite (bleach).
This antiseptic does not cause eye or skin irritation and is not harmful. Because it is so safe, every day we continuously atomize the entire clinic. We also installed HEPA filters and UV-C disinfection devices and components in our air conditioning system.

The surgeon places an implant on himself with navigated surgery
34 years after publishing the first single implant (ad modum Brånemark) in the Spanish dental literature, Dr. Navarro uses navigated surgery to place an implant in himself, looking only at the screen during the procedure.
We incorporate GalvoSurge technology at the Center
It is a novel dental implant cleaning system that helps prevent and/or treat peri-implantitis.
We expand our pediatric dentistry department and LITA is born
What began as the need to care for our patients' children has become a solid project with the consolidation of a team of professionals specialized in the youngest patients.
Incorporation of 5 SIRONA INTEGO AND SINIUS dental units
We have expanded our facilities to a total of 10 rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Creation of a new sterilization room
Where we continue to develop a structured chain that guarantees the sterility of all the materials we use. In it we carry out thorough control, developing a process of cleaning and disinfection, inspection, bagging, sterilization, as well as documentation and approval, with the aim of protecting patients and clinic staff.
We acquire the Melag Careclave
We are the first in Spain to have this autoclave which, with its patented DRYtelligence and double-chamber technology, exceeds the expectations of modern autoclaves. It is an autoclave that allows us to prepare and sterilize contra-angle handpieces and turbines in accordance with RKI standards.
We incorporate the Melag MELAtherm 10 washer-disinfector
This innovative washer-disinfector ensures superior cleaning, disinfection and drying of our materials, and provides better protection for patients and our team.
Acquisition of the Biolase EPIC X aerosol-free laser
It is a diode laser for daily use with fast surgical capabilities, numerous hygiene procedures (where permitted), as well as modes for pain therapy and whitening.
2023
We add a new CEREC PRIMESCAN to our digital equipment
Very happy with the precision and performance of our Primescan, we acquired a third unit for our digital impressions. We achieve fast and accurate intraoral scans.
2024
We incorporate the new SprintRay Pro S 95 3D printer
It is a printer that allows us to create our own models in the practice. They offer great precision and flexibility. With it we make dental models: splints, mock-ups, surgical guides, night guards, temporary and definitive restorations.
We incorporate the 3Shape TRIOS 3 Scanner into our orthodontics department
We incorporated the 3Shape TRIOS 3 intraoral scanner, offering our patients a more comfortable and efficient experience for our orthodontic treatments with invisible aligners.
